Undeniably, two of the most iconic and imitated movements in youth culture are the Mods and Rockers; their individual impact on generations of British youth resonates through music, fashion, politics and beyond. For AW12, we explored this legacy of collision, but imagined instead a reluctant meeting of minds, and a sharing of styles. Mod is juxtaposed with the leather, the aggression and the grit of the Rocker. The resultant collection is an inspired and considered clash of style.
The campaign, which features our own retail team who embody the spirit of the collection, was shot in association with The Rig Out magazine. The locations featured in the campaign are the real haunts and hangouts of these chaps, from the pubs and pool halls to the streets between London's East and the West End.
