Once a year Austin, Texas becomes an international mecca for a myriad of creative and musical genres.

For those who've been to SXSW and been bitten by the bug, it's a must-go-to on the annual festival circuit.

Not only is it a place to catch the hottest rising talent, but you can also be stood within spitting distance of the coolest musical mavericks as they go back to basics at tiny hole-in-the-wall venues.

This year, Ben Sherman set up base camp at SXSW and partnered with Clash Magazine to kick off 'The Plectrum Sessions' at The British Music Embassy. A showcase that was a nod to modernist sounds emanating from the UK featuring 4 smashing Blighty based bands.
