We hosted a private collection preview and party on the last day of London Collections: Men. In this, our 50th year; we treated press, fellow British designers and special guests to an evening of music and entertainment in collaboration with Shortlist Magazine.

Upon arriving at our venue for the evening, recently transformed by artist Martin Creed, guests were greeted by our Plectrum by Ben Sherman collection.

Plectrum is our catwalk offering, designed in-house at Ben Sherman by a team of designers striving for innovation in construction, fabrics and prints. This collection is a perfect example – utilising Parachute fabrics for a lightweight feel and an interesting play on light and drape. A full size parachute blew gently behind mannequins and created a much talked about spectacle.

Inside the main room our collection film played behind our DJ’s for the evening. Sounds were provided by three acts throughout the night, first were Other/shop & DMSR DJ’s, then the legendary Grand Master Flash and finally to wrap up the party, Alex and Paul from Franz Ferdinand Boys.

Special thanks to our VIP guests for joining us on the night; David Gandy, Louis Smith, Shanae Grimes and her new husband Josh Beech and JLS member Aston Merrygold.
