Last week we caught an early morning flight over to Germany ahead of our Plectrum Sessions in Berlin and Cologne. On Wednesday night In Golden Tears played to a packed store in Cologne and on Thursday Grey Television played to a bustling store in Berlin. Crowds and key members of the press enjoyed Veltins beer whilst they watched a forty minute set, shopping our new winter arrivals as they prepared for the cold temperatures.

In 1950 our Carnaby Street store used to be a live jazz venue called Club Eleven. Originally located at 41 Great Windmill Street, Soho, the club played a significant role in the early history of British bebop, a form of modern jazz. The club was so named because it had 11 founders - business manager Harry Morris and ten British bebop musicians. Club Eleven had two house bands, one led by Ronnie Scott and the other by John Dankworth.
