We caught up with The Heavy bassist, Dan, during the filming of their ESPN 2013 NFL Draft Telecast with 50 Cent.

We had a really hard time keeping ’50 Years of British Style Culture’ to ourselves during the lead up to launch. Excitement in the office peaked when the book was sent to print, so we shuffled along to the printers rubbing our palms together with glee for a first look.

Last night we hosted a launch party at our conceptual retail space, Mod_ular Blanc to launch our new book and same name exhibition entitled, 50 Years of British Style Culture. Leading members of the UK's menswear press and friends of Ben Sherman were amongst the first to preview the exhibition and get their hands a copy of the newly published hardback.

2013 sees our 50th anniversary, and to celebrate we pay tribute to the evolution of British menswear and the music led youth movements that make up 50 years of British style culture in a new book, written by Josh Sims, The book traces British menswear from the first real movements that saw the youth taking their lead not from their fathers, but from other cultural cues.

This season our knitwear collection takes inspiration from the menswear of the 1930’s: incorporating the modest colours, simple shapes and added functional details of the working man’s wardrobe.

As the snow falls outside our head-office in London, we are looking forward to Spring and the launch our new season collections.
